Community & Marketing Coordinator

WR Immigration is a global immigration firm known worldwide for its innovation, technology, high touch legal services, and flawless execution. WR is one of the fastest growing immigration service providers worldwide with over 50 attorneys and 150 immigration professionals working out of offices in Boston, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Oakland, Petoskey, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Monica, and Shanghai.

Position Overview:

The Community & Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in delivering an exceptional experience for members of WR Immigration's Immigration Benchmarking Collective and supporting the firm's thought leadership and marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Community & Engagement, this position coordinates community operations, member communications, events, digital content, benchmarking programs, and podcast activities.

The ideal candidate is polished, professional, highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused. This individual communicates confidently with executives and external stakeholders, anticipates needs, manages multiple deadlines, and uses modern technology platforms to create seamless and engaging member experiences.

Community & Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:

Community Operations & Member Experience

  • Support the day-to-day administration of the Immigration Benchmarking Collective and related community initiatives.
  • Welcome and onboard new members across community platforms, ensuring a professional, responsive, and consistent experience.
  • Respond to member inquiries, anticipate follow-up needs, and provide exceptional customer service to members and prospective members.
  • Maintain accurate member databases, contact information, participation records, and community documentation.
  • Support member engagement by facilitating discussions, sharing relevant resources, and helping connect members with one another.
  • Assist with initiatives designed to increase member satisfaction, participation, and retention.

Event Coordination & Logistics

  • Coordinate logistics for virtual roundtables, executive roundtables, masterclasses, networking events, conference activations, and other community programs.
  • Manage registrations, invitations, attendee communications, Zoom logistics, event materials, speaker coordination, venue logistics, and post-event follow-up.
  • Prepare polished agendas, briefing materials, presentations, attendee lists, and other event-related communications.
  • Coordinate sponsor, speaker, venue, and vendor logistics and maintain clear timelines and deliverables.
  • Track attendance, gather participant feedback, and compile post-event metrics and summaries.

Content & Marketing Coordination

  • Schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, Circle, newsletters, email campaigns, and other digital channels.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute community updates, event promotions, member spotlights, educational resources, and executive communications.
  • Maintain content and campaign calendars, coordinate approvals, and help ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Support social media engagement and ongoing community communications while maintaining a polished, accurate, and consistent WR voice.
  • Proofread and quality-check content, invitations, presentations, surveys, and other member-facing materials before distribution.

Benchmarking & Podcast Support

  • Coordinate benchmarking surveys, including survey setup, participant communications, reminders, response tracking, and follow-up.
  • Organize survey data and assist with data validation, analysis, benchmarking reports, presentations, and executive summaries.
  • Coordinate the Business Immigration Benchmark Podcast, including guest outreach and scheduling, calendar management, preparation materials, production timelines, and promotional activities.
  • Support the distribution of benchmarking reports, podcasts, and related community communications across relevant channels.

Project Management, Technology & Reporting

  • Maintain project plans, calendars, task lists, and status updates to keep community, content, survey, podcast, and event initiatives on schedule.
  • Track engagement, attendance, campaign, and member-experience metrics and assist in preparing recurring reports and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, attorneys, and other internal stakeholders to gather content, coordinate approvals, and execute initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and use AI, automation, and emerging productivity tools to increase efficiency and enhance the member experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Event Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in marketing, communications, event coordination, community management, customer success, or a related role.
  • Polished and professional presence, sound judgment, and confidence communicating with executives, senior professionals, members, speakers, sponsors, and external partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong business writing, editing, proofreading, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating professional meetings, webinars, conferences, executive events, or other multi-stakeholder programs.
  • Experience creating, scheduling, and publishing professional content across LinkedIn, newsletters, email campaigns, social media, or community platforms.
  • Customer-service mindset with a demonstrated commitment to creating thoughtful, responsive, and high-quality experiences.
  • Ability to track engagement metrics, organize data, identify trends, and prepare clear summaries and reports.
  • Tech-savvy mindset with curiosity about AI and emerging productivity tools and a willingness to continually adopt technologies that improve efficiency and the member experience.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, handle sensitive information with discretion, and follow through reliably on commitments.
  • Ability and willingness to travel periodically for in-person events, conferences, and other business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in immigration, global mobility, human resources, talent acquisition, professional services, or a membership-based organization.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Circle, Zoom, Pardot or other email marketing tools, PointerPro or other survey platforms, CRM systems, Canva, and project management software.
  • Experience supporting benchmarking surveys, research reports, podcasts, webinars, newsletters, or digital marketing campaigns.
  • Experience coordinating speakers, sponsors, vendors, venues, or executive-level events.
  • Working knowledge of content performance, event engagement, and community health metrics.

Compensation & Work Location:

This is a remote, full-time regular position. The annual salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and applicable geographic considerations. Periodic travel is required for in-person events and other business needs.
