Job description

WHAT MAKES US EPIC?
At the core of Epic's success are talented, passionate people. Epic prides itself on creating a collaborative, welcoming, and creative environment. Whether it's building award-winning games or crafting engine technology that enables others to make visually stunning interactive experiences, we're always innovating.
Being Epic means being a part of a team that continually strives to do right by our community and users. We're constantly innovating to raise the bar of engine and game development.
PRODUCTION
What We Do
Whether it's driving a vision from start to finish or collaborating with teams to inspire and deliver projects of Epic quality, Epic's production teams take pride in consistently delivering world-class products and experiences.
What You'll Do
As Sr. Producer, you'll lead critical cross-functional initiatives on the Unreal Engine team, working closely with development teams to align projects with business goals, manage risk, and drive delivery. You'll help build the foundation of production practices on the team and scale effective delivery methods across multiple programs. The engine moves fast and priorities shift, so this role is for someone who treats that as the normal operating condition, not an exception, and keeps teams delivering through it.
In this role, you will
  • Lead production planning, team operations, and delivery execution across key Unreal Engine initiatives
  • Establish and scale roadmap, workstream, and milestone management practices for complex, cross-functional programs
  • Partner with engineering leads to determine the time, people, and resources needed to see projects through to completion
  • Provide strategic oversight of ongoing projects, including defining and tracking key metrics and KPIs
  • Anticipate and communicate risks, dependencies, and blockers clearly across all levels of the organization
  • Monitor cross-functional schedules, resource allocation, and cost efficiency
  • Foster communication and alignment between development teams and partner organizations
  • Continuously improve production practices and workflows to raise team and program performance
  • Own the health and stability of live releases by triaging incoming issues, coordinating bug fixes, and driving cross-team incident response
What we're looking for
  • 10+ years of experience in production or program management within complex, matrixed organizations, ideally in software development on tools, platforms, or engines
  • A track record of fostering trust and transparency, managing tension constructively, and giving actionable feedback that grows talent and team capability
  • Experience building and scaling production practices and planning frameworks, creating a unified roadmap and driving alignment on strategic priorities
  • Strong stakeholder management instincts: building partnerships across technical and non-technical functions and resolving concerns before they escalate
  • Comfortable bringing structure and clarity to ambiguous situations, thinking strategically while breaking problems into actionable steps
  • Experience aligning interconnected workstreams toward shared milestones, with sound risk mitigation instincts and the flexibility to adapt plans as priorities shift
  • Ability to lead through influence rather than authority, enabling autonomy while holding teams accountable for results
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the adaptability to engage a wide range of teams and technologies as focus shifts
  • Preferred: familiarity with Jira and workflow automation, and prior experience as a Producer or Sr. Producer on an engine or tools team
