Job description

Blaze Media is seeking a PA with experience in podcast, news, or film/TV production. The ideal candidate has a "no job too small" attitude in the present and aspires to become an excellent producer. As such, the qualities we're seeking include: detail-oriented, team player, open to criticism & feedback, and applies criticism & feedback. The PA should be aligned with Blaze Media's brand and be prepared to help bring content to life in the areas of politics, news, art & culture, and theology.
Core Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily show operations & communications via email
  • Generate daily show documents (ex. Scripts, show maps)
  • Manage advertiser workflows & assets
  • Request video & graphic assets for daily show
  • QC Assets
  • QC Episodes
  • Cut clips
  • Request Thumbnails
  • Upload/Schedule/Title/Description/Tags for episodes & clips on all platforms
  • Manage YouTube ad slots
  • Guest booking admin
  • Other show operations admin as necessary

Additional Responsibilities
  • Pitch show segments

Required Experience & Skills
  • 1+ years of related production experience on a podcast or news show
  • Proven track record of strong editorial judgement in current cultural, faith, political and news media landscapes
