Now Hiring: POA Gate Attendant – Fulshear, Texas
Star Protection Services is seeking a professional, motivated, and dependable POA Gate Attendant to provide exceptional customer service and maintain security at a high-paced residential community in Fulshear, TX.
We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, demonstrate professionalism under pressure, and represent our company’s commitment to safety and service excellence.
Position Details:
  • Location: Fulshear, Texas
  • Schedule: Mix of First / Second Shifts
  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Pay rate $16.50
  • Ideal for semi-retired
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of verifiable security experience (HOA/POA or access control experience preferred)
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
  • No felony convictions
  • Must possess valid credentials, including:
    • Driver’s License or Texas-issued Identification Card
    • Social Security Card
    • Valid Guard Card
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be comfortable being on camera while on duty
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control access to the community gatehouse
  • Verify resident and visitor identification and maintain accurate logs
  • Provide courteous assistance and clear communication to residents, guests, and vendors
  • Maintain situational awareness and report any unusual activity or incidents promptly
  • Adhere to all company and community security protocols and standards
