Overview
As an IT Project Manager at ampliFI, this role is responsible for leading and managing cross-functional projects that drive key business initiatives. The position collaborates with stakeholders across the organization to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business needs. This role serves as the primary point of contact for internal teams, clients, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle. The position requires strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects and competing deadlines. A deep understanding and application of agile delivery methodologies is required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage IT projects using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and ensure that the project outcomes align with business needs and goals.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, budgets, and risk assessments, with a focus on agile principles.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities, applying strong time management and organizational skills to ensure deadlines, deliverables, and business objectives are met.
  • Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day activities of cross-functional project teams, ensuring tasks are completed according to schedule.

Essential Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager, managing complex IT projects with a strong focus on agile delivery methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience leading projects using Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), including managing product backlogs, sprints, and user stories.
  • Strong proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams, including IT, business, and external stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting business requirements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to interact with senior management and stakeholders.

Work Arrangement
  • Based at ampliFI's Naperville, IL Corporate office, this hybrid role requires onsite reporting Tuesday-Thursday weekly.

Physical Requirements
This role involves sitting or standing for extended periods, using computers, phones, and other office equipment. Visual acuity and manual dexterity are needed for reading documents and handling materials. Occasional lifting of items up to 20 lbs. and frequent phone communication is required.

The compensation range listed below represents the potential salary for this role at the time of posting. An employee's placement within the salary range will depend on various factors, including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any applicable collective bargaining agreements, and the needs of the business or organization. The salary range for this role is $95,000 to $105,000.
