Support CenterIf you are a current Adventist HealthCare employee, please click this link to apply through your Workday account.Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Imaging Scheduler for our Non-Acute Pre Services Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As an Imaging Scheduler, you will:
Monitor inbound fax and email traffic, following through with scheduling tasks such as booking various departments as needed
Retrieve Voicemails from Live Vox three times a day
Function as a Scheduler during lunches and staffing shortages
Assist Benefits Specialist with insurance verification and obtaining pre-authorizations as needed for cases booked greater than 48 hours. prior to the appointment date and time.
Assist Schedulers with insurance verification and obtaining pre-authorizations for cases booked less than 48 hours. before the appointment date and time.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications include:
High School Diploma or GED required
Two years of Medical Scheduling, Insurance Coverage and Benefits or Patient Access experience.
Strong customer service skills, critical thinking, and analytical skills, proven ability to communicate with others positively, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual a plus
Imaging Scheduling experience preferred

Typical Daily Schedule:8:30 am - 5:00 pm. Monday through Friday
