Commercial Plumbing Manager

About the Company

Our client is a respected mechanical contractor delivering large-scale plumbing and mechanical projects across the Southeast. Known for precision, accountability, and long-term partnerships, the firm executes complex institutional, commercial, and industrial work with consistent quality and safety.


The Opportunity

The Commercial Plumbing Manager will oversee plumbing operations across Georgia and Alabama. This is a key leadership position requiring dual state licensure and the ability to lead field teams, ensure code compliance, and coordinate closely with project management and estimating. The right candidate will bring both technical mastery and proven team leadership.


Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of commercial plumbing projects from pre-construction through close-out.

• Supervise licensed plumbing personnel in both Georgia and Alabama; ensure compliance with all state and local regulations.

• Mentor foremen, journeymen, and apprentices to maintain performance, safety, and craftsmanship.

• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and code alignment.

• Coordinate labour, materials, and scheduling with project leadership.

• Conduct regular site inspections to verify progress, quality, and safety standards.

• Partner with estimating on bids and pricing strategies.

• Track manpower, productivity, and cost performance.


Qualifications

• Current Georgia and Alabama Master Plumber Licences (required).

• Minimum seven years of commercial plumbing experience; at least three in a management capacity.

• Demonstrated success managing multiple large projects simultaneously.

• Strong technical knowledge of hydronic, sanitary, and domestic-water systems.

• Effective communication and organisational skills with a hands-on leadership approach.
