Overview

As a Plumbing Manager working in the HomeTown system, you will be responsible for leading a plumbing team and maintaining and repairing various plumbing systems. The main duties include locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on equipment, conducting warranty services, and quickly performing emergency repairs on certain equipment items.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, supervise, and train a team of plumbers and apprentices.
  • Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and technical support to plumbing staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and handle disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Plan and schedule plumbing projects, including new installations, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with contractors, clients, and other trades to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Estimate material and labor costs, prepare budgets, and track expenditures.
  • Monitor project timelines and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure plumbing installations and repairs comply with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks on completed work.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and practices on job sites.
