Your Role
I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a global leader in complete HVAC-R systems - Permanent position 37.5 hours/week
Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will be involved in the complete development cycle of electrical and automation systems for HVAC-R equipment designed for the maritime industry.
Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Design and develop control panels using AutoCAD Electrical and create the necessary electrical schematics for manufacturing.
  • Program and configure programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interfaces (HMIs) to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Contribute to project planning, assess the required engineering time, and anticipate technical needs.
  • Test and troubleshoot electrical and control equipment during factory testing and commissioning phases onboard vessels.
  • Perform on-site commissioning of systems, ensuring the proper installation and calibration of sensors and electrical components.
  • Provide technical support to field teams during system startup and fine-tuning.
  • Update and optimize electrical plans based on design or commissioning changes.
  • Analyze and interpret control sequences to ensure the coherence and efficiency of automated systems.
  • Propose innovative solutions to optimize wiring and reduce installation costs.
  • Occasional travel required for commissioning and supporting shipyards.
