About the job you re considering
We are seeking a high impact Quality Automation Lead to own and drive end to end automation strategy, delivery, and modernization for complex enterprise applications. This is an onshore, client facing role based in Orlando, requiring a hands on technical leader who can influence stakeholders, lead hybrid delivery teams, and deliver measurable quality outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a builder and thought leader who challenges traditional testing models, establishes modern automation standards across UI, API, and pipelines, and leverages AI enabled automation to improve productivity, stability, and coverage at scale.
Your role
* Own and execute the end to end automation vision, roadmap, and delivery strategy aligned to business goals and release timelines.
* Define, implement, and govern automation standards, including framework architecture, coding practices, reusability, reporting, and quality metrics.
* Lead hands on development and stabilization of UI automation using UFT and Playwright, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and business critical coverage.
* Design and drive API automation using Postman, including scripting, regression packs, quality gates, and pipeline integration.
* Integrate all automation suites into CI/CD pipelines, establishing clear entry/exit criteria and actionable release readiness signals.
* Introduce and scale AI assisted automation practices to improve scripting efficiency, test maintenance, and execution speed.
* Act as the onshore automation lead for client stakeholders, providing clear communication on strategy, risks, progress, and outcomes while guiding offshore teams.
Your skills and experience
* 9+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3+ years leading automation delivery in enterprise environments.
* Strong hands on expertise in UFT, Playwright (preferred for modern web automation), and structured framework design.
* Proven experience with Postman for API testing, scripting, and automation enablement.
* Solid experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins and Git based version control.
* Demonstrated ability to stabilize flaky automation suites through root cause analysis and reliability improvements.
* Exposure to AI/GenAI enabled automation, such as Copilot assisted scripting or AI driven test generation and maintenance.
* Strong client facing communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes without direct authority.
