Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated QA Automation Tester / Business Analyst with strong experience in test automation using Playwright and a understanding of business requirements analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and QA teams to define requirements, design test strategies, automate testing processes, and ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions.

This role requires a blend of Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, and Automation Testing expertise, enabling the candidate to translate business requirements into effective test scenarios and automated test suites.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate requirement workshops and gap analysis sessions.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed test scenarios and validation criteria.
  • Support UAT planning and execution by coordinating with business users.

QA & Test Management

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test cases.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, log, track, and verify defects through resolution.
  • Ensure software quality throughout the SDLC and Agile development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with developers to review requirements and ensure testability.

Automation Testing (Playwright)

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Playwright.
  • Automate UI, API, and end-to-end test scenarios across web applications.
  • Implement automated regression suites to improve test coverage and reduce manual effort.
  • Integrate Playwright automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor automation execution results and generate quality metrics and reports.
  • Continuously enhance automation frameworks for maintainability and efficiency.
  • Drive adoption of AI-enabled testing solutions and intelligent automation practices.
  • Utilize GitHub Copilot or similar AI tools to enhance engineering productivity.

Required Skills

  • Experience in Playwright Automation Framework development.
  • Business Analysis capabilities including requirement gathering and process documentation.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Prior experience working with US Banking projects (Commercial Lending is good to have )
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and Agile practices.
  • Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
  • Experience with defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ALM.

Education Required:
