Position: Playwright Automation Engineer with Python

Location: Onsite in Irving, TX (Local Only) F2F Interview required

Contract: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Playwright Automation Engineer with strong Python experience to join our QA automation team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks using Playwright and Python, with a strong understanding of web application testing and automation best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with Python.
  • Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks for web applications.
  • Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
  • Identify, document, troubleshoot, and track software defects.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in test planning, test case development, execution, and reporting.
  • Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze test results and troubleshoot automation failures.
  • Maintain automation scripts and improve test coverage and reliability.
Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
  • Strong programming experience with Python.
  • Experience with PyTest or similar Python testing frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of UI/Web Automation Testing.
  • Experience with functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Knowledge of API testing and REST APIs.
  • Experience with Git/version control.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of QA processes and software testing methodologies.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver.
