What is a player development intern?

A Player Development Intern is an entry-level position within sports organizations, such as college or professional teams, focused on supporting the growth and well-being of athletes. Duties typically include assisting with educational programs, life skills workshops, and coordinating resources to help players succeed both on and off the field. What are the typical responsibilities of a player development intern within a sports organization?

A Player Development Intern typically assists with organizing and executing programs that support athletes’ personal and professional growth.
