Economic Development Coordinator

The Economic Development Coordinator manages the City's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity to support city-wide economic development programs and initiatives. This role prepares monthly development pipeline reports, monitors key commercial and targeted industry sector projects, and collaborates across departments to coordinate projects throughout the development continuum. The position also conducts research, analyzes economic, market, demographic, geographic, and statistical data, and prepares reports to support informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in development or program management and familiarity with the development process in either the public or private sector. Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Dynamics 365 and electronic plan review systems like ProjectDox, Accela, or similar tools is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build and work with pivot tables for data analysis and reporting, is strongly preferred. This individual is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and an effective written communicator, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A dependable, adaptable, and collaborative team player, the candidate thrives in supporting others, managing projects, and engaging with diverse stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
