Job description

Job Description: Senior AI Quality Engineer

Location: Peachtree Corners, GA
Work Type: Full-Time | On-Site

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior AI Quality Engineer to help redefine how software quality is achieved in modern, cloud-native systems. This is not a traditional QA role focused solely on manual testing or scripted automation. Instead, you will play a key role in building a forward-looking quality practice that integrates intelligent automation, AI-assisted workflows, and scalable test strategies.

You’ll work closely with engineering teams to embed quality into every stage of development, while also exploring how machine learning and AI-powered tools can increase efficiency, visibility, and reliability across complex systems.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving hard problems, finding failure points before they occur, and pushing quality engineering into its next evolution.

What You’ll DoDrive End-to-End Quality
  • Take ownership of quality across applications, APIs, data systems, and cloud environments.
  • Influence how systems are designed to ensure testability, resilience, and long-term maintainability.
  • Establish measurable quality standards and continuously improve how they are tracked and achieved.
Build Intelligent Testing Systems
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks across multiple layers, including integration and end-to-end scenarios.
  • Apply AI tools to accelerate testing workflows, enhance coverage, and detect defects earlier in the development cycle.
  • Identify repetitive or manual processes and replace them with automated, intelligent solutions.
Validate Data & Cloud Systems
  • Perform in-depth validation of data pipelines, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and performance.
  • Test cloud-based environments and services to ensure reliability across deployments and integrations.
  • Work within CI/CD pipelines to enforce consistent quality gates before release.
Collaborate Across Engineering
  • Partner closely with developers to shift testing earlier in the development process.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions to surface risks before implementation begins.
  • Participate in diagnosing production issues and identifying root causes.
Evolve the Quality Practice
  • Help define and implement an AI-driven quality engineering approach.
  • Introduce tools and frameworks that improve testing speed, insight, and scalability.
  • Strengthen visibility into system health, test coverage, and defect trends.

What You BringRequired
  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, software testing, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with both manual testing approaches and automated testing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with modern testing tools (such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of cloud-based systems and deployment environments.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including data validation, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working within CI/CD pipelines and Agile development environments.
  • Ability to work on-site full-time in Peachtree Corners, GA.
Preferred
  • Experience incorporating AI or machine learning tools into testing workflows.
  • Familiarity with performance, load, or stress testing techniques.
  • Exposure to large-scale, distributed, or data-intensive systems.
  • Ability to build scripts or lightweight tooling to support testing and diagnostics.
  • Experience with observability, logging, or monitoring platforms.
