Job description

VetsEZ is seeking a HealthShare Engineer to join our remote team. The engineer must have direct experience implementing InterSystems Web Gateway solutions and providing full lifecycle support of Apache configurations on InterSystems HealthShare and IRIS for Health systems.

The candidate must reside within the continental US.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategies and solutions for automating operations and identify streamlined software delivery methodology and technology processes.
  • Provide strategies and solutions to maintain continuous integration & continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Perform backup, recovery, patching, and ADFS integration.
  • Provide strategies and solutions to support Load and Performance Testing and Management in production as well as lower-level environments.
  • Help in Tier 3 support of InterSystems HealthShare and IRIS for Health systems and related technologies.
  • Installation and Configuration of InterSystems base software, kits, and patches.
  • Help support oAuth and SSO configuration and setup.
  • Provide strategies and solutions to support migration to OpenID Connect (OIDC).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or Technical related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in information technology and/or Federal Government contracting. Of the 5 YOE, 2+ years of experience supporting large production systems.
  • Requires experience with InterSystems Cache, IRIS, or HealthShare.
  • Experience automating infrastructure, testing, or deployment of a web-based application with tools like Jenkins, Ansible.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions using Enterprise Monitor, DynaTrace and Splunk.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience supporting GitHub/Jenkins Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to help DevOps Teams deliver software of higher quality at greater speed.
  • Experience with AWS, Agile/SAFe, DevOps, IRIS, Linux (RHEL-8) Apache, Ansible Python Scripting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of one or more different agile methodologies, including SAFe.
  • Experience with AWS monitoring tools: CloudWatch, DynaTrace, Splunk.
  • Experienced with configuring large middleware applications.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Direct experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs or other large Federal Agencies.
  • Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect-Associate
  • Ability to obtain a Government clearance.
