Cloud Platform Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to support and enhance our cloud infrastructure on Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying applications, managing infrastructure, and collaborating with engineering, DevOps, and support teams to ensure seamless platform integration. This role requires expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), container orchestration, DevOps automation, and infrastructure management to drive innovation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy applications on the platform while ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
  • Manage infrastructure components and collaborate with teams for seamless integration of network, security, and remote access.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on cloud architecture, infrastructure, and automation.
  • Work closely with platform teams, AKS, DevOps, and support teams to optimize cloud solutions.
  • Analyze business needs and design scalable, cost-effective solutions on Azure Cloud.
  • Own end-to-end project execution, working with business stakeholders, IT teams, data stewards, and third-party vendors.
  • Review and provide feedback on core code changes and support production deployments.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

  • Containerization & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, OpenShift, KVM, Helm Chart Deployment, Docker Images & Compose, Azure Container Registry, Kubernetes Networking & Security
  • DevOps & Automation: CI/CD Pipeline Management: Terraform, Azure Automation, ARM Templates, Runbooks, Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Helm, PowerShell, DSC, Azure DevOps Pipelines & GitHub Actions

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including Kubernetes (AKS), container management, and DevOps automation.
  • Strong background in infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD pipeline automation.
  • Expertise in scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience working in agile environments and collaborating across multiple teams.
