Job description

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team and support our client in Hanover, MD.  As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining a hybrid-cloud Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.

What you'll do:

  • Design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions using AWS, while ensuring seamless integration with on-premises systems
  • Manage and administer advanced AWS environments, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the overall security posture of the SOC
  • Adapt to evolving project requirements collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

What you'll need:

  • Experience with cloud development and administration (AWS preferred) 
  • Experience in systems engineering (ex: VMWare, VCenter etc.) 
  • Experience with cloud automation and tools (ex: Ansible, etc.) 
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • DoD 8140 compliance (e.g. Security+, CISSP, CASP, etc.) or ability to obtain within 90 days of start 
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or 4 years of admin/engineering experience in lieu of degree 

Bonus points if you have:

  • Exposure to security frameworks and tools, especially those relevant to SOC operations
  • Security Operations Center (SOC) experience
  • Experience developing and maintaining hybrid-cloud SOC environments

Clearance:

Must have an active Secret level clearance
