Operations Manager - Molly Maid of Chicago North Shore - Skokie, IL

$27-$31 per hour base, plus performance-based bonuses

Full-time, on-site | Availability Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM (7:30 AM-4:00 PM most days)

No nights, weekends or holidays


Lead the daily operation of a trusted North Shore home-service business

Each morning, our field teams leave with full schedules and customers relying on us. The Operations Manager ensures they have the people, information, and support needed to deliver on that promise.


This is a hands-on leadership role—not a traditional office manager position. You will:

What you will own

Daily operations

* Manage schedules, route changes, call-offs, and day-to-day adjustments

* Lead morning launches and keep teams aligned throughout the day

* Use CRM and scheduling tools to keep customers and staff informed


Team leadership

* Coach, support, and hold office and field staff accountable

* Assist with recruiting, interviewing, training, and retention

* Maintain a positive culture of ownership, communication, and problem-solving


Customer experience

* Handle customer calls, texts, and emails professionally

* Resolve issues fully and ensure clear follow-through

* Protect relationships and support repeat business growth


Sales and quality

* Conduct in-home estimates using established pricing and process

* Perform quality checks and coach field teams as needed

* Ensure consistent service standards across all jobs


Administrative support

* Assist with payroll, invoicing, inventory, and recruiting tasks

* Support day-to-day operational needs as required

What we are looking for

* Fluent English and Spanish (required)

* Prior experience leading employees and daily operations (required)

* Experience in fast-paced service environments (home services, healthcare, hospitality, restaurants, logistics, property management, etc.) preferred

* Experience with hiring, training, coaching, and accountability

* Strong customer service judgment and communication skills

* Comfort using CRM systems, google suite, scheduling tools, email, and text platforms

* Ability to prioritize and make decisions independently

* Valid Illinois driver’s license and insurable driving record

* Ability to pass a background check (as permitted by law)

* Availability to work on-site Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (7:30-4PM most days).
