Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Microsoft Power Platform Developer with a strong background in Power Automate, Azure services, and AI Builder to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain intelligent automation solutions and business applications that drive digital transformation across the organization. You will work closely with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable, low code/pro-code solutions.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Power Platform Development
. Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) to meet complex business needs.
. Build and maintain automated workflows and business process flows using Power Automate (cloud flows, desktop flows, and process advisor).
. Develop and manage Power BI reports and dashboards integrated with Power Platform solutions.
. Configure and extend Microsoft Dataverse including tables, relationships, business rules, and security roles.
Power Automate & Workflow Automation
. Architect end-to-end automation solutions using Power Automate cloud and desktop flows, including approval workflows, data integration pipelines, and event-driven triggers.
. Integrate Power Automate with Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Planner) and third-party systems via REST APIs and custom connectors.
. Troubleshoot, optimize, and monitor existing flows to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
. Apply error handling, retry logic, and parallel branch design patterns for robust production-grade workflows.
Azure Integration
. Integrate Power Platform solutions with Azure services including Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Azure API Management.

. Leverage Azure Key Vault for secure credential and secret management within automated workflows.

. Integrate AI Builder models within Power Automate flows to automate intelligent document extraction (invoices, forms, contracts).
. Leverage pre-built AI capabilities such as business card reader, receipt processor, and text recognition within production workflows.
. Evaluate and apply Azure AI / Cognitive Services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Form Recognizer, Language Service) to extend AI Builder capabilities where required.
Governance, Security & Best Practices
. Enforce Power Platform governance policies including DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policies, environment strategy, and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).
. Document solution architecture, technical designs, and operational runbooks to a high standard.
. Conduct peer code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers and citizen developers.
. Ensure solutions comply with organizational security policies, GDPR requirements, and industry standards.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. Minimum 5 years of hands-on development experience on the Microsoft Power Platform in a professional environment.
. Deep expertise in Power Automate - cloud flows, desktop flows (RPA), HTTP connectors, and custom connectors.
. Strong proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas Apps and/or Model-Driven Apps) with Dataverse or SharePoint backends.
. Practical experience integrating Power Platform with Azure services (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus).
. Experience building and deploying AI Builder models within Power Automate for document intelligence or prediction tasks.
. Solid understanding of REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, JSON, and OData for service integrations.
. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, environment management, and solution packaging for ALM.
. Experience with Microsoft Dataverse - schema design, security model, and plug-ins or custom connectors.
Desirable / Nice to Have
. Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or equivalent.
. Experience with Azure OpenAI Service, Copilot Studio, or Microsoft Copilot extensions.
. Familiarity with Power Pages (portals) development.
. Exposure to Dynamics 365 CE or F&O integrations via Power Platform.
. Knowledge of TypeScript / JavaScript for PCF (Power Apps Component Framework) controls.
. Background in traditional software development (.NET, C#, Python) as a complement to low-code work.
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
. Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) certification is highly desirable.
. Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) is an advantage.
. Any Microsoft AI-related certification (AI-900, AI-102) will be considered favorably.
