The Plastic Surgery Nurse should have experience in patient care, highly organized and comfortable working in a surgical setting. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Previous experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, or surgical nursing Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment Knowledge of sterile techniques and patient safety protocols Experience with EMR systems preferred Operating Room or procedural nursing experience Patient education and care coordination Responsibilities: Assist surgeons during in-office procedures Prepare patients for surgery, including pre-op education and documentation Provide post-operative care and patient instructions Monitor patient recovery and respond to concerns or complications Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulations Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families. Salary Range
