Job description

Location: Garden Grove, CA 92841 
Shift: 1st Shift | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM || 1PM - 9:30 PM
Pay Rate: $23.00/hr.

Overtime: Required (including weekends and holidays)

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Injection Molding Machine Operators to support manufacturing operations at Saint-Gobain’s Life Sciences facility in Garden Grove, CA. This role is responsible for producing high-quality plastic components by operating injection molding machines while adhering to work orders, blueprints, and quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate plastic injection molding machines to produce quality parts per work orders and blueprint specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprint drawings and work instructions
  • Monitor process temperatures and injection pressures to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Verify machine settings by measuring first-run parts and sample workpieces
  • Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, Vernier calipers, and optical comparators
  • Identify and report non-conformances or process deviations
  • Perform occasional preventive maintenance following manufacturer instructions
  • Lift and carry materials up to 35 lbs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
 

Qualifications

  • Manufacturing experience preferred (plastic injection molding experience strongly desired)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and manufacturing standards
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
