Express Employment Professionals is seeking
Extruder Operator, MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE. THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION. Operates and monitors extrusion equipment to produce high-quality plastic profiles according to customer specifications and company standards. Responsibilities include setting up and adjusting extrusion machinery, measuring and inspecting products for quality, troubleshooting minor equipment issues, maintaining production records, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The Extruder Operator works closely with quality and production teams to meet production goals while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and compliance with safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
 Set up, operate, and monitor plastic EXTRUSION equipment to ensure efficient production.
 Adjust machine settings, temperatures, speeds, and tooling to meet product specifications.
 Perform quality checks using measuring tools to verify dimensions, appearance, and product consistency.
 Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment or process issues to minimize downtime.
 Record production data, quality results, and machine performance information.
 Change dies, tooling, and materials as required for production runs.
 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety standards.
 Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality procedures.
 Assist with preventive maintenance and communicate equipment concerns to maintenance personnel.
 Work collaboratively with supervisors, quality technicians, and team members to meet production goals and customer requirements.
Qualifications
    • Previous experience REQUIRED
    • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40-50 lbs
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Reliable attendance and good work ethic
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
