LOCATION:Cape Canaveral, FL

JOB STATUS:Full-time

CLEARANCE: BI investigation

TRAVEL:Limited; as needed

Position Summary
Astrion is seeking a Plant Science Intern who will support research activities focused on spaceflight and ground-based plant growth experiments. This position provides hands-on experience in controlled environment agriculture and space crop production technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Plant Science, Horticulture, Biology, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
  • Interest in plant growth systems and controlled environment agriculture.
  • Ability to follow laboratory procedures and work as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework or experience in plant physiology, horticulture, hydroponics, or controlled environment agriculture.
  • Experience with data collection and basic scientific research methods.

Responsibilities
