Nature & Purpose of Position
Seeking to hire four undergraduate students to serve as Research Assistants for the Bridge Grant in the School of Agricultural Sciences over the duration of 9 academic months and 3 summer months. These students will be responsible for both service and research efforts. The project goal is to establish an urban agriculture project to provide high schools and community groups produce through hydroponics systems, while also using digital marketing techniques to generate revenue for the groups. We seek to hire two Plant Science students to manage the hydroponics systems, one Agribusiness student to manage budgeting and marketing and one Agricultural Education student to develop paper marketing materials. All Research Assistants will make community visits during the duration of this project.
Other Requirements for the Position
Must provide own transportation. Must be punctual and must work well with others.
