JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The College/Unit of Agricultural Sciences, Dept of Plant Sciences, Guiltinan-Maximova Lab is seeking applicants for part-time job of Plant Science Research Assistant.
Job duties to include:
  • Preparing stocks solutions for cloning (LB, Agar plates, antibiotics, etc)
  • Restriction digestion and Gibson assembly
  • RNA/DNA extractions
  • PCR/qPCR/gel extractions
  • Assisting in plant growth and maintenance

Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:
Interest in plant science research
Schedule:
  • Up to 30 hours per week

Compensation:
The starting rate for this job is $14/hr.
