Job Summary

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, customers, and suppliers while providing general administrative support as needed for the smooth day-to-day office operations of our Muncie, IN facility.  This position will be based fully onsite.

Job Responsibilities

   Serve as the primary receptionist by greeting and directing visitors, vendors, customers, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
   Manage visitor access and site security through the iLobby visitor management system.
   Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls, emails, and other inquiries.
   Receive raw materials using supplier packing lists, assign serial numbers, and enter parts into the LN system to create routers.
   Maintain breakrooms and common office areas, ensuring supplies are stocked and organized.
   Serve as the primary point of contact for facility and service vendors, including office cleaning services, Cintas uniform rentals and supplies, landscaping, water services, and vending providers.
   Plan and coordinate employee recognition and workplace celebration activities.
   Provide administrative support to Human Resources as needed
   Perform additional duties and provide backup support to various functions as assigned by the Site Manager.

Job Qualifications

Required:
   High school diploma or equivalent
   3+ years of previous experience in reception, office administration, customer service, or plant administration 
   Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
   Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively with employees, customers, suppliers and visitors.
   Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping and data entry
   Must be a US Person (Citizen or Green Card Holder) or have the ability to obtain the necessary Government licensing to work with controlled technology and products

Preferred:
   Experience working in a manufacturing environment
   Experience with ERP systems (SAP, LN,) 
   Experience with and inventory or receiving processes

Physical:
   Standing and walking at least 7hrs/day
   Ability to carry and lift weight up to 25lbs
   Bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling required (At least 2hrs/day)
   Use of hands for fine dexterity, light and strong grasping (At least 7hrs/day)
