Job description

The Plant Nursery Sales Associate plays a vital role in delivering excellent customer service while supporting plant care and maintenance at the nursery. This position involves direct interaction with customers, guiding them in plant selection and care, managing sales transactions, and assisting with inventory and social media marketing. As a member of the sales team, the associate contributes to creating a welcoming and knowledgeable environment for all visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with plant selection and provide guidance on plant care
  • Perform sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Unload deliveries and organize plants, trees, flowers, and shrubs
  • Maintain plant health and appearance through regular care
  • Manage product postings and promotions on Facebook Marketplace and other social media
  • Support social media marketing efforts to boost nursery visibility
  • Collaborate as part of a sales team to meet customer needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in retail sales
