About Us:

LiveHappy, LLC is an innovative and rapidly growing cannabis cultivation company committed to producing high-quality, sustainable cannabis. We focus on the health and development of our plants from seedling to harvest, and we are looking for a dedicated Nursery Technician to join our team.

Position Summary:

The Plant Nursery Technician at LiveHappy, LLC is responsible for the care and maintenance of young cannabis plants in our nursery. You will be directly involved in plant propagation, monitoring, and ensuring the plants receive the necessary attention to thrive in their early stages of growth. This role requires a hands-on individual with a strong attention to detail and experience in working in the cannabis industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the daily care and maintenance of cannabis plants, including watering, feeding, pruning, and transplanting.
  • Monitor the health of plants and identify signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies.
  • Conduct regular cleaning and sanitization of work areas, tools, and equipment to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
  • Assist in cloning and propagation techniques, including preparing and maintaining mother plants.
  • Ensure plants are labeled and tracked accurately using the company’s inventory management systems.
  • Follow all company protocols and procedures, including state regulations and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with the cultivation team to ensure the nursery operates efficiently and meets production goals.
  • Report any plant health concerns or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in horticulture, agriculture, or related field preferred (cannabis experience is a plus, but not required).
  • Basic understanding of plant biology, nutrient cycles, and pest management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow precise instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
