Job Description:

As a Ready Mix Plant Maintenance Technician at HRM Concrete, you will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues, and ensuring minimal downtime. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on ready mix plant equipment, including mixers, conveyors, and batching systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to ensure optimal plant operation.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize equipment failures and downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and parts used.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with plant management and other team members to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
