Job description

The Manager, Corporate FP&A will bring thought leadership and business partnering across our finance organization. In this highly critical and visible role, you will drive value by scaling critical corporate finance deliverables, lead monthly and quarterly consolidations, key corporate finance forecasts, as well as ad hoc scenario and proforma modeling. The position reports to the Sr. Manager of Corporate FP&A.
What you'll do:
  • Be a fantastic partner to your colleagues within the Finance, Strategy and Ops organization.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly forecast calls within the FP&A org; utilizing our FP&A systems tool (ie., Pigment), driving thoughtful discussion and concise narratives.
  • Own month-end and quarter-end close activities, including forecast variance analysis, preparation of BOD materials and quarterly financial reviews (QFRs), ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Own key components of the Long-Range-Planning process by collaborating with key finance stakeholders to develop comprehensive multi-year financial strategies and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Build sensitivity modeling for both near-term and long-range planning
  • Financial forecast ownership of key corporate policies, benefits, and ad-hoc scenarios.
  • Ad-hoc M&A proforma modeling and diligence lead, supporting post-close financial integration (ad-hoc cadence).
  • Support leadership and partner with the department-facing FP&A Business Partner Leads / Analysts on planning and forecasting on a near-term and long-range basis
  • Synthesize complex models and analyses to derive clear takeaways; present data and findings via visually impactful presentations; drive changes to enhance visibility and predictability of key corporate finance forecasts
  • Design, build and maintain financial dashboards and executive-level reporting to clearly communicate topline performance and key business insights

What we're looking for:
  • 5+ years of relevant Corporate FP&A experience as a SaaS company
  • Skillful influencer in tough situations; assertive without being antagonistic and achieves positive outcomes; ability to work in a collaborative and team-centric culture while being remote and/or in person
  • Ability and desire to take initiative and work in an unknown, highly dynamic environment which includes colleagues that are remote, in the office and across time zones
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and an understanding of how to synthesize details depending on the audience
  • Experience thinking strategically about complex business problems, leading to recommendation and action plans
  • Attention to detail and ability to consistently generate a high quality work product is critical as we will operate the business based on the output/recommendations the team produces
  • Values-oriented, data-driven decision-making style
  • This is a remote US role, however there is a preference for the candidate to be located in Austin, Texas. This individual needs to be prepared to travel once per quarter

Base Pay Range:
