Job description

Overview

This is a Planning Manager role focused on end-to-end demand planning, inventory management and purchasing operations within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end demand planning processes to align supply with forecasted demand.
  • Manage inventory planning, optimization, safety stock and service level targets.
  • Oversee purchasing operations and ERP/MRP activity to support production planning.
  • Mentor and develop a team of planners or buyers; provide guidance on forecasting and inventory strategies.
Qualifications
  • 5 to 8 years in demand planning, supply chain or procurement with hands-on experience in ERP/MRP systems or Blue Yonder.
  • APICS certification is a big plus.
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team of planners or buyers and understanding forecasting, inventory optimization, safety stock and service level metrics.
