Restaurant General Manager – Pizza Restaurant
Location: Nanuet, NY

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant General Manager to lead operations for a high-volume pizza restaurant in Nanuet, NY. The ideal candidate must have strong pizza industry experience, hands-on dough knowledge, and the leadership skills to manage daily restaurant operations while maintaining exceptional food quality and customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations, including kitchen, front-of-house, staffing, scheduling, and inventory
  • Ensure consistent execution of pizza recipes, dough preparation, fermentation, and quality standards
  • Manage and train staff on operational procedures, food safety, and customer service expectations
  • Monitor dough production, hydration/saturation levels, proofing, and fermentation processes
  • Maintain labor and food cost controls while maximizing profitability
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of team members
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and maintain a positive dining experience
  • Work closely with ownership to improve systems, efficiency, and overall restaurant performance
  • Maintain vendor relationships and oversee ordering/inventory management
Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of restaurant management experience
  • MUST have pizza restaurant experience
  • Strong knowledge of pizza dough production, including dough saturation/hydration, fermentation, proofing, and handling
  • Experience managing high-volume kitchen operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
