About the Role

Luckey’s BBQ Place is looking for an experienced Pit Master / Line Cook to bring fast, fresh, and high-quality BBQ to our community. You will manage food prep, master smoker/pit operations, execute high-volume production, and keep our kitchen running cleanly and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities
  • Pit & Kitchen Operations: Prep, cut, chop, and smoke meats according to recipes and SOPs; handle high-volume line production and catering orders.
  • Quality & Freshness: Plate, package, and serve fresh menu items with speed and accuracy.
  • Safety & Sanitation: Maintain strict food safety standards, proper temperature control, and kitchen cleanliness.
  • Team & Service: Work closely with the team to deliver excellent customer service and maintain a productive kitchen environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 2+ years in a culinary leadership role (Required); 1+ year in commercial foodservice.
  • Knowledge: Pit/smoker operations, standard prep methods, culinary math (recipe conversion), and food safety protocols.
  • Requirements: Age 18+; High school diploma or equivalent.
