Lead complex mechanical HVAC piping projects across commercial and industrial systems where technical expertise, leadership, and craftsmanship truly matter.

H&G Systems has proudly served the Dallas-Fort Worth market since 1968, delivering advanced commercial and industrial mechanical contracting solutions across data centers, manufacturing facilities, food processing plants, laboratories, healthcare facilities, and occupied buildings. Our work focuses on technically demanding HVAC, piping, retrofit, and specialty mechanical systems where experience and precision are essential. We are known for quality workmanship, long-term client relationships, and a strong reputation throughout North Texas.

We are actively seeking an experienced Commercial Mechanical Piping Foreman to lead special projects involving advanced piping systems, retrofit work, plant shutdowns, specialty mechanical installations, and complex equipment replacements. This role is ideal for a highly skilled mechanical professional who thrives in hands-on leadership, enjoys solving unique challenges, and wants long-term career growth with a stable mechanical contractor.

In this role, you will lead and perform advanced mechanical piping installations on non-routine commercial and industrial projects, including retrofits, shutdowns, specialty system upgrades, and major equipment replacements. You will oversee daily field operations, coordinate apprentices or small crews, interpret mechanical drawings, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain project safety standards. This position requires significant hands-on field leadership, including welding, fabrication, piping installation, chiller and pump retrofits, chilled water and heating water systems, crane coordination, and specialty mechanical system support. Projects may occasionally require nights or weekend work depending on shutdown schedules and customer operational needs.

What We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly skilled mechanical foreman with strong field leadership ability, advanced piping and welding expertise, and a proven track record working on commercial or industrial HVAC systems. Ideal candidates are dependable, technically advanced, safety-focused, and capable of independently leading projects while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

• Strong commercial and/or industrial HVAC piping experience
• Advanced pipe welding in all positions using 6010/6011 electrodes
• Occasional 7018 welding experience
• TIG welding on stainless steel piping
• Copper soldering from 1/4 inch to 3-inch systems
• Experience with grooved, threaded, ProPress, and MegaPress systems
• Chiller, pump, and mechanical equipment retrofit experience
• Installation of chilled water and heating water systems
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Experience leading apprentices or small crews
• Strong field coordination and jobsite management skills
• Crane signaling experience for RTUs, MAUs, or similar equipment is a plus
• Strong communication, reliability, and safety mindset

Preferred Experience
• Prior foreman or field leadership experience
• Bilingual Spanish language skills

Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment
• Climb ladders and access rooftops or mechanical spaces
• Work in confined spaces and varying indoor/outdoor environments
• Perform standing, kneeling, bending, and physical labor for extended periods

Requirements
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving history
