Gas Pipeline Sales Representative

Region: Texas and Surrounding Areas

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager

Our Client is a well-established wholesale fuel and lubricant company with over 82 years in the industry, is currently seeking a Gas Pipeline Sales Representative to support the growth of our pipeline-focused fuel and lubricant programs. This role requires strong regional knowledge, relationship-building skills, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions that meet operational and compliance requirements. The Gas Pipeline Sales Representative will focus on business development, relationship management, and program promotion to pipeline operators and industrial clients across Texas and neighboring states.


Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new opportunities within Texas and surrounding regions.

• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects in the oil & gas, pipeline, and industrial sectors.

• Promote and sell fuel, lubricants, and associated services tailored for pipeline operations.

• Negotiate pricing and contracts to meet regional revenue targets.

• Advise clients on product selection to enhance pipeline maintenance, performance, and efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with Texas state regulations and industry standards.

• Maintain long-term relationships with key regional accounts.

• Coordinate deliveries with internal teams and resolve service-related issues promptly.

• Track customer interactions and manage sales activity using CRM systems.

• Prepare regional sales reports, revenue forecasts, and account updates.


Qualifications:

• Experience in fuel and lubricant sales, preferably within oil & gas or pipeline sectors.

• Knowledge of the Texas oil & gas market and pipeline operations.

• Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to travel extensively throughout Texas and surrounding states.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).

• Experience using CRM platforms.

• Demonstrated success in business development and expanding customer accounts.

• Heavy day travel and some overnight travel required.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.

• Familiarity with Texas environmental and safety regulations.

• Growth in client base and increased product penetration.
