Job description

Construction Sales Estimator

Regalados Construction Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Sales Estimator to join our team. This is not an entry-level position.

We are looking for a motivated professional with proven experience in both residential and commercial construction sales and estimating. The ideal candidate knows how to generate their own opportunities, prepare accurate estimates, build client trust, and close profitable projects.

This is a hybrid role based in Los Banos, California. The position combines office-based client follow-up, proposal preparation, and team coordination with field visits and in-person estimates. The selected candidate must be available to work in person at our Los Banos office on required scheduled days.

Responsibilities
  • Generate and follow up on both cold and warm leads.

  • Prospect for new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, follow-up, and other sales efforts.

  • Work company-provided warm leads while also developing an independent pipeline of qualified prospects.

  • Conduct property and site visits, take measurements, understand project scope, and identify client needs.

  • Prepare clear, accurate residential and commercial construction estimates and proposals.

  • Present proposals, explain scope of work, address client questions, and close profitable projects.

  • Maintain organized records of leads, appointments, proposals, follow-up activity, and sales results.

  • Coordinate project details with the office and construction team to ensure scopes are clear, realistic, and profitable.

  • Meet performance expectations for qualified appointments, proposals, sales, close rate, and profitability.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in residential and commercial construction sales and estimating.

  • Demonstrated experience generating cold leads and building a sales pipeline.

  • Experience working warm leads and converting them into signed projects.

  • Experience with remodeling, tenant improvements, home improvements, garage conversions, ADUs, repairs, or similar construction projects.

  • Strong communication, organization, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills.

  • Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with the office and construction team.

  • Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.

  • Willingness to work from our Los Banos office on scheduled in-person days and travel for client appointments.

  • Ability to travel throughout the Central Valley, Bay Area, and mountain communities. Some appointments may involve substantial driving distances.

  • Active California Home Improvement Salesperson registration is preferred for applicable residential work, or the ability to obtain it before performing related sales or contract-negotiation duties.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

  • Proficiency with ClickUp, Google Workspace, email, and CRM or lead-tracking systems is a plus.

  • Ability to maintain organized and timely communication, follow-up, project notes, and client records using company systems.

Compensation

Compensation is commission-based and paid according to the company’s written commission plan. Travel policies and approved business mileage are addressed by company policy.

What We Offer
  • A hybrid role with office support and field-based opportunities.

  • Company-provided warm leads, along with the opportunity to build and grow your own pipeline.

  • Administrative and operational support.

  • Clear sales, commission, travel, and performance expectations.

  • Opportunity to grow with a growing construction company that values strong performance, professionalism, and long-term client relationships.

  • Possible support with obtaining Home Improvement Salesperson registration, subject to company terms.

How to Apply

To apply, please submit your resume and a brief summary of your residential and commercial construction sales and estimating experience.
