Job description

At The Pinnacle Companies, our success isn't just built on the homes we design, the properties we manage, or the services we provide - it's built on our people. We are a team driven by passion, collaboration, and a shared commitment to creating exceptional experiences. As a leader in the luxury vacation home industry, we specialize in architecture, construction, interior design, property management, and vacation rentals, but what sets us apart is our culture.

At Pinnacle, we believe in pushing boundaries, embracing challenges, and growing together. We balance professionalism with authenticity and confidence with humility. Our work is grounded in excellence, community, trust, and integrity; virtues that guide every decision we make and every relationship we build.

Not everyone is meant to work here and that's okay. Pinnacle is a place for people who take pride in their work, who bring their whole selves to the table, and who believe excellence and optimism aren't simple acts, but daily habits. We're looking for people who lean into challenges, own their outcomes, believe in the possible, and show up for their community.

If you're looking for a job, you'll find thousands. If you're looking for a place to grow, contribute, and push your own limits, you might belong here.

The question is simple: Are you someone who thrives where expectations are high, accountability is real, courage is celebrated, and relationships run deep? If so, we'd love to meet you.

The Role: As the Director of Client Experience, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Pinnacle's client base and strengthening the relationships that fuel our growth. Reporting directly to the EVP of Client Relations, you will be entrusted with cultivating meaningful connections, identifying opportunities, and creating client experiences that reflect Pinnacle's unwavering commitment to excellence. This role is not about transactions, it's about listening with care, advising with expertise, and fostering trust. We are looking for someone who is both detailed and personal, capable of balancing strategy with authentic, people-first engagement.

We are seeking someone who brings both detail and warmth, someone capable of balancing strategic thinking with authentic, people first engagement. Direct experience in luxury custom home building is essential, whether gained as a project manager, superintendent, or skilled tradesman. Your firsthand understanding of the craftsmanship, sequencing, field realities, and client expectations unique to high end residential construction will allow you to communicate with credibility, anticipate client needs, and guide them through a seamless and elevated experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Growth: Identify, engage, and secure new client opportunities across Pinnacle's portfolios, with a focus on long-term partnerships.
  • Site & Technical Engagement: Walk active construction sites with confidence, interpret plans and details, and engage knowledgeably with architects, project managers, and trade partners.
  • Relationship Building: Serve as a trusted partner, building deep and lasting connections rooted in trust and integrity.
  • Strategic Development: Partner with leadership to design and execute initiatives that align with Pinnacle's growth goals and embody our culture of excellence.
  • Market Insight: Monitor trends in construction, luxury real estate, design, and hospitality to position Pinnacle as an industry leader.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with architecture, construction, design, and lodging teams to deliver seamless client solutions.
  • Representation: Represent Pinnacle with professionalism and authenticity at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
  • Precision & Care: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and outcomes, ensuring both detail and personalization in every step.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience working within a general contractor or design-build firm executing projects.
  • Working technical understanding of residential construction systems, including structural components, framing methods, building envelope assemblies, and MEP coordination, sufficient to evaluate design feasibility, remodeling constraints and cost/schedule impacts.
  • Significant background in client development, account management, or strategic partnerships, ideally tied to luxury or high-end projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust with discerning clients and foster relationships that endure.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with a balance of detail orientation and personal warmth.
  • Track record of delivering growth and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborative leadership style, committed to strengthening community within teams and with clients.
  • Adaptability to client needs, with flexibility for travel, evenings, and weekends as required.

Why Join Us:

  • Be part of a culture that's professional, yet personal; bold, yet humble.
  • Work in an environment where your contributions directly enhance the lives of others.
  • Join a dynamic, forward-thinking team that values innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Embrace the joy and fulfillment of working with a close-knit team that's more family than colleagues.

What We Offer:

  • Compensation starts at $90,000 - $150,000 based on experience and skill level.
  • 3 weeks of Annual Paid Time Off.
  • Make a difference in the community with 16 Paid Volunteer hours, aligning with our ethos.
  • Comprehensive Medical and Wellness Benefits including a 100% Employer Paid Health Insurance plan, with options for Dental and Vision.
  • Employee Stock Ownership Program, allowing you to be part of our company's success.
  • Annual Team Trip To Mexico - Strengthen team bonds while creating unforgettable experiences.
  • A monthly cell phone reimbursement and mileage reimbursement when applicable.
