• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking complete medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests to establish accurate diagnoses.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians, ensuring that each plan aligns with best practices and aims for optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform procedures and minor surgical interventions as needed, always under the guidance of attending physicians, to address urgent medical conditions.
• Provide comprehensive patient education on medical conditions, treatment options, and necessary lifestyle modifications to foster proactive health management.
• Maintain precise medical records, ensuring documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up care are up-to-date and accurate, complying with both hospital and legal standards.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population that includes individuals presenting with a variety of urgent medical needs, from minor injuries to acute illnesses. You will have the opportunity to engage with patients of all ages, providing care that meets their specific health requirements. Your role will be instrumental in driving positive health outcomes, promoting disease prevention, and encouraging health maintenance within the community.

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Physician Assistant Studies.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently while adhering to the established scope of practice.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• A strong commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care that uplifts community health.

• Previous experience in an urgent care or emergency room setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in performing minor surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline patient documentation and care coordination.

This full-time Physician Assistant role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 140,000 to USD 160,000 annually, reflecting the level of expertise and commitment you bring to our organization.
