Job Summary:
PING, Inc., maker of PING golf equipment, is looking for a Support Specialist that will serve as the point of contact for support issues within the business. The role involves ensuring timely customer service, fostering relationships with customers, and maintaining an inventory of equipment and software.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure customer service requests are handled timely and completely.
• Foster working relationships with customers to effectively resolve issues.
• Maintain an inventory of equipment and software to track for distribution and recovery
• Keep abreast of new technologies, working with company staff in assessing training and development needs.
• Promote effective work practices, working as a team member, and showing respect for co-workers.
• Perform duties of Help Desk Analyst as needed.
• Provide additional end-user technical support as needed.
• Configure and deploy computer systems and other IT equipment.
• Assist with special projects on various issues as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
• High School diploma or GED
• Interpersonal skills necessary to interface effectively with users, vendors, and other employees
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge using Microsoft 365
• Knowledge of wired and wireless networking technology is required
• Knowledge and understanding of trouble shooting computer hardware components and operating systems features
