Position: PILE DRIVER
Job Summary:
Perform tasks involving physical labor at heavy construction projects.  Responsible for multiple types of activities required to drive different types of piles using various equipment in accordance with design drawings, specifications and supervisory instructions.
Essential Duties:
Follow Daily Procedures and Protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings and Safety Handbooks. Properly follow OSHA safety procedures.  Bring problems to the attention of the Superintendent or Safety Facilitator.
Proficient in assigned pile driving techniques for timber, steel, concrete, and sheet piles on land and barge.
Working knowledge of various hammer types (diesel impact, hydraulic impact, air impact, vibratory).
Non-structural welding as needed.
Ability to use torches, hand tools, power tools, jacks, and pulleys as required.
Assembling pile driving leads, connecting hoses, rigging material and equipment
Loads, transports and unloads material, tools, equipment and supplies
Performs maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipment
Full-time position, benefits, hourly pay
Qualifications:
Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in heavy construction work.
Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
Able to travel and work overtime (may include nights and weekends).
Must be at least 18 years of age, pass drug screen and background check.
