Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Material Handler (3rd Shift) at the facility is responsible for overnight order picking and packing. This premium-pay shift runs Sunday-Thursday or Saturday-Wednesday depending on open orders released by the company- the exact schedule is not confirmed until they issues orders. Candidates must be flexible and comfortable with overnight work.
Pay Rate: $19.95/hr
Shift: Sunday-Thursday with OT on Fridays OR Saturday-Wednesday with OT on Thursdays (TBD) | 10:00 PM-6:30 AM
Employment Type: Temporary-to-Permanent
Conversion: 420 hours or 90 days
Location: Murfreesboro, TN
Language: Open - English, Spanish, Arabic, and other languages accepted
Background Check: Theft, Violence, Drugs screened
Equipment: No forklift required - general warehouse/floor work
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Accurately pick and pack orders according to work instructions and system prompts
  • Inspect product for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area
  • Meet productivity and accuracy targets as set by site management
  • Follow all health, safety, and Geodis site policies
  • Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems as required
  • Participate in team huddles, safety walks, and continuous improvement activities
  • Adhere to strict attendance and punctuality requirements
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution centre experience preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation to and from the facility for the assigned shift
  • Availability and flexibility to work either Sunday-Thursday or Saturday-Wednesday overnight (schedule determined by Apple's open orders)
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
  • Must pass criminal background check (theft, violence, drug offences screened)
  • Must be available to work the full shift as scheduled
