Picking / Packing
Location: Carrollton, TX 75010
Pay Rate: $16.25/hr
Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed)
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Picker / Packer to join our warehouse production team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from warehouse shelves, verifying order details, and securely packing items for shipment. This is a fast-paced position ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, working as part of a team, and maintaining high quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Order Picking: Accurately reads pick tickets, work orders, or RF scanner instructions to locate and retrieve specified products from inventory shelves.
  • Quality Check: Inspects selected items for any visible damage, defects, or incorrect labeling prior to moving them to the packing station.
  • Order Packing: Safely and securely packs products into designated boxes or shipping containers, utilizing appropriate dunnage (bubble wrap, paper, foam) to prevent damage during transit.
  • Labeling & Sorting: Seals completed packages and applies accurate shipping labels, packing slips, and barcodes according to company and carrier standards.
  • Inventory Tracking: Updates inventory records and registers completed orders using the internal warehouse database or tracking system.
  • Maintenance: Performs daily housekeeping in assigned picking zones and packing stations to ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or fast-paced production environment is preferred, but not required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail to ensure 100% order accuracy.
    • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
    • Basic math skills for counting items and verifying inventory quantities.
    • Proven reliability, punctuality, and ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk for the full duration of the shift, bend, reach, and routinely lift and/or move up to 40-50 lbs.
  • Availability: Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work the full designated shift hours, including occasional overtime.
  • Screening: Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and E-Verify screening.
