Job description

ProAmpac is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Shipping and Receiving area.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Knows and follows all safety policies and procedures. Ensures that co-workers are also following safety rules.
  • Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) and food safety practices (GMPs, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.
  • Keeps warehouse organized by moving products to assigned areas.
  • Delivers LTL material to appropriate place within 24 hours of receiving.
  • Delivers small parcel packages to appropriate locations
  • Unloads assigned inbound loads.
  • Verifies correct quantity/product/size is received.
  • Follows structured receiving process (labeling, weighing, inspecting for damage).
  • Scans and moves rolls to appropriate location in warehouse.
  • Assists in processing of resin poly railcars and monitors resin to ensure the pumping velocity is accurate.
  • Picks, stages, and scans orders for shipments.
  • Ensures that items are picked in order they are scheduled to be shipped.
  • Loads items on truck.
  • Maintains organized warehouse.
  • Loads and completed load documents for scrap disposal.
  • Contacts supervisor if order is not complete or not scanning correctly.
  • Demonstrates appropriate attitude in all dealings with coworkers, customers, and suppliers.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Our ideal candidate would possess the following skills, qualifications, and abilities:
  • High school or equivalent (GED) education
  • One or more years related experience and/or training
  • At least one year of previous forklift experience required
  • Valid driver's license required

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8-hour staggered first shift (start times rotate weekly at approx. 6 am, 8 am, 10 am, and 12 pm)
