The Role: 

Piaggio Fast Forward (PFF) is seeking a highly technical DevOps Engineer to help build and scale the cloud, automation, and deployment infrastructure powering gita, kilo , our automotive products and future PFF products. You'll work at the intersection of software, infrastructure, and automation-owning CI/CD pipelines, AWS environments, and InfrastructureasCode while enabling engineering teams to ship reliable software at speed.

 What You'll Do

  • Architect, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, security, and automation
  • Build and manage InfrastructureasCode using Terraform (modules, workspaces, state management, reusable patterns)
  • Configure and optimize GitHub (repos, branching strategies, GitHub Actions, integrations, permissions)
  • Design, maintain, and extend Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments
  • Develop automation to streamline development workflows, environment provisioning, and release processes
  • Implement containerized environments using Docker and AWS container services (ECS/EKS)
  • Perform system performance tuning, load testing, and reliability analysis
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production and staging environments using AWS native tools and opensource observability stacks
  • Collaborate closely with Software, QA, and Operations teams to improve deployment velocity and system resilience
  • Document infrastructure, pipelines, and operational processes for internal engineering teams

 What you Bring

  • 3-5 years of handson DevOps engineering experience
  • Strong expertise with AWS (IAM, EC2, VPC, S3, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudFormation)
  • Advanced proficiency with Terraform (IaC best practices, modular design, automation workflows)
  • Experience configuring and managing GitHub at scale
  • Deep experience building and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong Linux fundamentals and shell scripting skills
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration
  • Familiarity with Java, C/C++, or Python build environments
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
  • Knowledge of opensource tooling and automation frameworks
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams
  • Bonus: Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef; embedded build systems
