Renown Health is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care team, providing high-quality, evidence-based care to patients across the lifespan. This role delivers direct patient care under physician supervision, emphasizing clinical excellence, collaboration, and compassionate service aligned with Renown's Mission, Vision, and Values. This role supports the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient‑centered care within Nevada's largest integrated health system. The position also contributes to Renown's academic partnership with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine,supporting a culture of clinical excellence, education, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Advanced Clinical Practice - Perform comprehensive assessments, physical exams, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning for urgent care patients.
  • Patient Care Coordination - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document accurately, support patients through acute issues, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Customer Satisfaction - Provide patient-centered communication, resolve concerns promptly, and maintain a positive, professional presence.
  • Clinical Standards - Ensure adherence to protocols, Nevada PA regulations, and Renown policies; support productivity, quality, and program growth.
  • Emergency Response - Deliver emergency medical treatment when required.
