What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a physician assistant chart reviewer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Physician Assistant Chart Reviewer, you need a thorough understanding of clinical guidelines, medical terminology, and patient care standards, typically supported by PA licensure and relevant clinical experience. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), coding systems like ICD-10/CPT, and clinical documentation improvement tools is essential.
