Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Winter Haven, allowing therapists to engage directly with patients in a supportive and collaborative setting. Our work environment fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, where physical therapists regularly interact with physicians, occupational therapists, nurses, and supportive staff to create a cohesive treatment plan. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical conditions; establish realistic treatment goals based on physician guidelines.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize a range of therapeutic interventions tailored to address specific impairments and disabilities.
• Document all patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and support the work of Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and other support personnel during patient care activities.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to assess and enhance the effectiveness of treatment programs, making necessary adjustments to care based on patient progress.
• Communicate regularly with patients and their families to provide updates on treatment, address concerns, and promote adherence to therapy protocols.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment, following all health and safety regulations and protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Swift Peace Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, grappling with chronic pain, and those aiming to regain mobility after injuries. Our facility caters to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, which means therapists must be adept at tailoring treatment strategies appropriate for various developmental stages and health conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities to articulate treatment plans efficiently.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapy setting is required, candidates with additional experience in specialized fields—such as pediatrics, geriatrics, or neurology—will be highly regarded. Familiarity with rehabilitation technologies and evidence-based therapeutic practices will further enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
