We currently have an opening for a Physical Security Officer in our Clarksburg, Maryland office. This position reports to the Corporate FSO.
Responsibilities
  • Support implementation and enforcement of TDSI's physical security compliance program, policies, and procedures, in coordination with the Corporate FSO or Security Manager.
  • Oversee day-to-day recordkeeping/logging, reporting, access/visitor management, and other administrative requirements under the NISPOM.
  • Serve as liaison to physical security vendors and service providers in support of TDSI's physical security needs.
  • Coordinate physical security vulnerability assessments.
  • Assist in conducting and coordinating NISPOM self-assessments, audits, and DCSA site assessments.
  • Collaborate with TDSI's Information Technology (IT) Department to ensure security specific network connectivity.
  • Drive enforcement of TDSI visitor control policies and oversee badging of employees and visitors.
  • Support operation and maintenance of TDSI physical security systems; video cameras, badge readers, biometric scanners and alarm systems, for all TDSI facilities nationwide.
  • Support site security requirements and system upgrades for all TDSI subsidiary facilities as needed.
  • Collaborate with a team for on-call response and manage 24/7 service provider for physical security and after-hours checks including responding to anomalies/alarms.
  • Coordinate badging activities and access controls systems for all TDSI sites, including Lenel and AMAG systems.
  • Collaborate on site visits to TDSI facilities to assess and validate physical security processes and system integrity.
  • Interaction and coordination with security guard company for after-hours alarm responses, as needed.
  • Participate in routine conduct of random inspections / package inspection program.
  • Serve as an alternate COMSEC Manager.

Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret Level Security Clearance upon hire.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications. Fluent in English.
  • 5+ years' experience managing physical security systems and requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in physical security operations and protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of access control systems (e.g., badge readers, door control systems, etc.).
  • A self-motivated work ethic.
  • Must have understanding of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM Rule).
  • Requires knowledge of government security related policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance.
  • Completion of DCSA FSO Program Management curriculum is preferred.
  • Must have the ability work on a team that is responsible for responding to after hour call-in support of DoD activities including burglar alarms and facility emergencies.
  • Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.

The annualized pay range for this role is $ 79,668.90 - $ 101,799.15 USD along with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of 5%. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the experience level for the role described above. TDSI considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
