Job description

Seasonal HR Coordinator

District Photo is seeking an organized, dependable, and highly responsive Seasonal HR Coordinator to support our onsite Human Resources team during our peak production season.

The HR Coordinator will assist with the daily HR activities required to support a rapidly growing seasonal workforce. This position will work closely with employees, candidates, supervisors, and the HR team and will help keep onboarding, employee documentation, communication, and other HR processes moving efficiently.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced position where priorities may change throughout the day.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Assist with new-hire onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Help ensure new-hire paperwork and employment documentation are completed accurately and timely.
  • Maintain employee files, HR records, spreadsheets, and tracking reports.
  • Assist employees with routine HR questions and direct more complex issues to the appropriate HR team member.
  • Support recruiting activities when additional hiring assistance is needed.
  • Help coordinate new-hire start dates, orientation schedules, and employee communications.
  • Assist with attendance and employee-information tracking.
  • Enter and review information in HR systems.
  • Help HR maintain accurate records during periods of high-volume hiring.
  • Assist with employee events, communications, and seasonal workforce activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling employee information.
  • Provide general administrative and HR support as business needs change throughout peak season.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Previous HR, administrative, recruiting, payroll, customer-service, or office experience strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
Peak-Season Commitment

This position plays an important role in supporting hundreds of employees during our busiest time of year. Dependability, attendance, flexibility, and commitment to completing the seasonal assignment are essential.

Candidates should be prepared to work approximately 40โ€“50 hours per week during peak season and should be comfortable working in an environment where volume is high, priorities change quickly, and the HR team works together to get the job done.
