About this Role - Marketing Coordinator
We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator that has a passion for quality construction. This position supports the daily marketing efforts with an emphasis on merchandise management and social media content. This is a hands-on role well-suited for someone who is highly organized, takes initiative, and thrives while managing multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines - all while maintaining consistent brand standards.
What You'll Do
Merchandise & Promotional Products
- Coordinate the development, sourcing, and management of branded merchandise and promotional items, ensuring each product aligns with the brand and is tailored appropriately for the type of event it supports
- Assist with product concepts, artwork, pricing, and timelines in collaboration with vendors and internal teams to deliver high-quality results
- Oversee inventory, ordering, shipping, tracking, receiving, and distribution of merchandise to ensure timely availability for all initiatives. Maintain MJE Merchandise Store, updating products, availability, and pricing
- Support special events by assisting with ordering, distribution, and day-of coordination
- Support recruiting and talent acquisition efforts by assisting with the creation of promotional materials, coordinating branded merchandise for career fairs and hiring events, and promoting open opportunities across social media platforms to strengthen employer brand visibility and candidate engagement.
Creative Media - Social Media, Photo & Video
- Develop and schedule social media content - writing copy, capturing and editing photos, and designing visuals - optimized to fit the style and audience of each platform
- Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner, while relaying relevant insights and inquiries to the appropriate internal teams.
- Assist with photo and video shoots, content gathering, and creative brainstorming to generate fresh ideas and visually compelling materials
- Stay current on both social media and merchandise and promotional trends, providing recommendations and contributing ideas to improve campaigns and engagement
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Social Media, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience that demonstrates strong marketing and creative skills
- Hands-on experience with social media platforms and interfaces, including Facebook/Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office, with experience in photo editing, graphic design, content creation for digital mediums, and ability to maintain databases
